Chapter 1: You mean the world to me!


Zuko walked slowly towards the Avatar, who was training with Katara, he bit his lip thinking of her was too painful he would just have to set his mind on the task at hand. ‘Aang it’s time for your fire bending training!’ said Zuko as he walked up to Aang, thoughts rushed through Aang’s mind “Why is he staring at Katara when he’s talking to me??? Wait no way he can’t have her, she is mine!” it was true that Zuko was staring or more so glinting at Katara who had Aang been looking closely at was looking back at Zuko with a strange look on her face, not quite liking Zuko and not quite hating. ‘Then let’s get started!’ replied Aang as he looked at his fire bending teacher, Zuko’s eyes now on Aang as he nodded and the two started the technique called the dancing dragon as a warm up, Katara muffled a laugh as she turned away and headed towards camp. As Katara stepped into camp she was met by Toph ‘I hear Twinkle toes and Sparky are doing their girly dance again!’ said the young blind girl, Katara couldn’t stop it the laugh came out in a giant burst ‘Hahahahahahhahahahahah yer hahahahaha they ehheheheheheh are…ohhhhohohohohoho haahhahahahahahahaha ehehehehhehe!’ she cried bursting into a laughing fit. Toph patted her friend on the back and a smirk came on her face “She has really started warming up to Sparky, maybe she will let Twinkle toes down lightly!” Toph pulled Katara onto her feet ‘So you feel like helping Sokka out for the moment?’ she asked ‘Sure!’ replied the water bender regaining her composure.

Zuko dropped Aang in a matter of seconds, ‘Focus! The fire lord would of killed you by now with the way your acting!’ yelled Zuko lifting Aang to his feet ‘Sorry but I was just thinking that’s all!’ answered Aang, both had the same thought “About her…..Katara,” Zuko pulled a semi smile on his face ‘Lets go take a quick rest than and get some food in our bellies.’ The two ran to the camp site both for different reasons. “Maybe I should talk to her?? What if she yells at me god knows she will!” ran across Zuko’s mind as he sat down next to a tree far from the rest of the group, when he looked up he could see blue eyes, brown hair and something that looked like a blue dress ‘Hay can I join you?’ she said as she slid down next to him, he nodded of course she could, ‘Zuk..o’ she said as she turned to face him ‘sh you don’t need to say anything,’ he replied as he pulled her into his chest, ‘But I want to say this Zuko! Zuko you mean the world to me you know that right?’ she asked, nuzzling his chest, ‘mmm....’ he replied as he let her go this was what they did they did, they sat down and hugged, maybe said a word or to and then went back to how everyone saw them. ‘So that’s it HUH you are such a PRICK!’  She cried at him as she got up and stomped over to the others. “Same as always” he thought.

‘What was that about?’ asked Sokka as his sister sat down next to him ‘That selfish Jerk thinks he’s better than us and won’t even let a peasant like me sit down with him! God he is so self absorbed!’ she shrieked, “not sooo true they we’re totally hugging for a second then”  thought Toph “Best to leave them in privacy though.” Aang smiled at the thought of how unlikely it was that even if Zuko did like Katara she wouldn’t return those feelings. ‘So how was your fire dancing Aang?’ she forced her self to ask without cracking up ‘FINE!’ replied Aang, not wanting Katara to know how badly Zuko had beaten him “maybe Zuko could fight the fire lord while I marry Katara in a faraway land?” thought Aang bringing another smile to his face.

That night Zuko and Katara we’re hidden behind a tree as their lips locked in a way beyond Aang’s imagination kiss ‘mmm…. Zuko…mmm…stop it that hurts!’ murmured Katara as Zuko ran a finger of fire across her bare neck (except for her necklace) ‘Why should I stop I want to do this to you it makes you depend on me even more,’ chuckled Zuko into her ear as he pushed away a strand of her hair and leaned in to kiss her again. There was a sudden noise and the two pulled their bodies apart and started to argue, ‘Why on earth do you have to wake me up with your snores!’ snapped Katara as Zuko blew steam out of his nostrils (he’s been practicing) ‘Well why do you have to walk around in your sleep! I mean it’s the middle of the night and you happen to step on my stomach do you know how much that hurts! No cause you’re a goodie too-shoes just as Toph says a Sugar queen!’ he snapped back. Aang walked towards the two ‘Still arguing it’s the middle of the night.’ He said with some happiness all was not as he had though they weren’t kissing or doing couple stuff, just arguing, or so he thought “perfect.”

Toph and Sokka had seen everything from were they had launched operation get dirt on Sparky and SQ (Sugar Queen). Sokka had Toph’s hand around his mouth as he tried to launch himself at the fire bender who had so-so been all over his sister, ‘Shh otherwise Aang will hear you and then we’ll have to turn Sparky and SQ’s secret over and then whose gonna get killed Sparky and you that’s who me on the other hand I have blindness on my side!’ hissed Toph in his ear, she really did want Sparky and SQ too hook up then she had Twinkle toes all to herself but unfortunately TT (Twinkle toes) couldn’t find at about Sparky and SQ just yet.
