'After there was Oma and Shu, there was Zuko and Katara
Book 1, chapter 6 "Imprisoned"
Zuko reached down and picked up the water bender's necklace. He would use it to find her he told himself and his men, but that night once he was alone in his room he carefully held the necklace in his hands and unbidden images of the girl floated in his mind.
Book 1, chapter 9 "The Waterbending Scroll"
As they rode away on Appa Katara couldn't help but look back and watch the landscape change. While being tied to a tree and held a hostage was hardly ideal in any circumstances she couldn't help but think about how she had seen a small glimpse of Zuko's true nature. Perhaps there was some good in him, buried deep. She didn't voice the thought aloud though; she knew the reactions it would receive.
Book 2, chapter 20 "The Crossroads of Destiny"
Katara watched Zuko, his inner struggle obvious even to her. Showing him her healing water from the North Pole she touched his scar w

The moon shone down on him and he could see his reflection staring back at him from the dark pond.
Zuko found himself standing in the royal garden, his own private garden, only connected to his royal chambers. No one else were allowed out here, not even the servants. This was the only place he could actually be by himself and think.
His scar seemed to be more red today, more alive. He closed his eyes and thought of these past days. Katara and the others were spending their free time at the Fire Nation Palace. They were all thankful for some time off and finally being together after almost a year apart.
He actually had to admit to himself that he had missed them. All of them. Everything from Toph's sarcastic comments and hard punches to Sokka's lame jokes that everyone still laughed at. He even missed all the bickering with Katara, and that was the funny part, the part that had haunted him these days.
He had accidentally walked in on her

Her eyes gazed upon the magnificent building before them. The palace which homed one of the most powerful leaders of their time, the one man that managed to end all the quarrels of the nations.
Of course no one had to forget that the Avatar was the reason the war ended, but even after the was things had been difficult and the man currently on the throne had the whole world before his feet, thanking him for what he had done for them.
Katara felt at unease now that she stood on top of the steps together with Aang, Sokka, Suki and the loudmouthed earthbender named Toph.
It had been a year since they last saw him. At first she thought Aang was the one that was meant to restore peace in the world, but as soon as Zuko took his rightful place as Fire Lord he showed a completely new side of himself.
He arranged for meetings with other Nation leaders, started an organization that would help maintain the relations between the nations. He whipped aw
FINALLY!!! A new update. It took me like forever. Sorry about that. I was gone for 2 weeks for the Olympics and sight-seeing. Whistler was my favourite place to vist. Such gorgeous scenery. Anyway, while I was away, I had submitted 3 of my clubs to be converted into groups. When I got back, I took a bit of a break and then I delved into updating my 3 newly crowned groups. It took me awhile to learn all the new features of this group platform. This group is mostly finished being updated now with just a few tweaks left and I am still working on my other 2 groups. I was able to get some previous members back but there are some I am still waiting to here from. I am still going to keep an old member's list and I will only kick out people who haven't updated their dA accounts since 2007. I assume that they have either left dA or let their dA accounts die. I am also going to be updating the rules of the club and be moving that to the "About Us" section. I will updated once all that is done. I have also re-organized the gallery into different folders. Hopefully, it will make it easier to find specific artwork that you are looking for. All artwork are still in the "Featured" folder and from there, I have split them up into different folders. I also hope that everyone likes the new layout of the homepage. Please send me your feedback on whether you like things they way they are now or is there anything that you would like to see changed. Lastly, I will be working on a new avatar/icon for the group but I do not know on when I will be able to complete that project.
